The Resource Architect
Hi, I’m Dr. Desirie Sykes, a passionate advocate, businesswoman, and proud mom on a mission to build a society that truly supports mental health and special education. My dedication is deeply personal: I know what it’s like to be at the beginning of a mental health journey and not receive the proper care. That experience,
combined with my work supporting families navigating special education, has shaped my absolute commitment to change the system from the ground up. I know that resources are how we grow, and it’s my passion to connect them directly to communities.
As a public speaker and the author of the workbook "Who Do You Think You Are?", I share not just hope, but actionable resources that anyone can use to catalyze change in their own lives and communities. My talks transcend awareness, focusing on the practical steps to foster inclusion and resilience. Through my work and the resources I champion, I aim to give people the inspiration that sparks action, leaving every audience member fully empowered to demand and create a more just and supportive future.
